Digital Gita University?

As you all know, we have 3 modes of approach for taking Gita wisdom to the world. One is to have a “Physical University”, create Gita gurus, and establish 1000 physical sathsanghs / Yoga centers / Karma Yoga ashrams, in the top 1000 highly populated cities all over the world by 2027. These 1000 Sathsanghs during 2027 and 2036, will send 50000 people to Gita University for additional training on Gita and other services offered at Sathsangh. They will start teaching Gita using online methods. The second approach is to have a “Digital University” to create world-class Gita content and to take the same to every computer and every mobile using the world’s best digital marketing methods. The third approach is the “Mobile University”, where we plan to have 1000 mobile wisdom vans operating from the first 1000 sathsanghs and will distribute 100 crore Gita books and other life management books using Gita in their jurisdiction.

We have scheduled to make this digital content ready by 2030. Firstly, we intend to present Bhagawat Gita in 10 styles, catering to the different mindsets of people all over the world. We started this project in the year 2017, and So far we have completed three types of Bhagawat Gita in 5 languages, namely, English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada. We are planning to do the same in a few more languages, like Urdu, Bengali, Marathi, Malayalam, Gujarati, Arabic, Russian, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Indonesian, German, Japanese, Korean, and Turkish, during the years 2024 and 2026. Later, we intend to digitize the entire Vedas, Puranas, Upanishads, and Itihasas in English, where the mantras/slokas will be clearly recited along with explaining the meanings of the same in English to start.

We have developed two alternative proposals for the initially suggested Gita University, which is planned to be situated on a 200-acre campus with an estimated budget of 2200 crores.

Plan A, the original and much ambitious one involves establishing an asset that is entirely owned by the foundation, managed by the 220 of India’s wealthiest philanthropists.

Plan B proposes the creation of a Vedic club comprising 1944 members, which is calculated as 108 multiplied by 18, each contributing 30 lakhs for an executive room within the club. This facility will feature infrastructure akin to a 7-star hotel on a 100-acre campus, allowing members to utilize their rooms for 65 days each year. The club aims to spread the teachings of the Gita to over 50% of the global population by 2050 and to establish similar clubs internationally.

Plan-C: Leased Premises: The International School for Bhagavad Gita is the seed version of the larger Gita University vision, now rising on an 11-acre campus at Shankarpally, Hyderabad, located 32 km from Kokapet SEZ and 66 km from the airport. Developed by Sri Castle Estates and D3Y Infrastructures Pvt. Ltd. under the leadership of Shri Mahesh Reddy and Shri Anand Reddy, the residential community is named Sri Vedic Township and is planned as an exclusive township for Hindus. Jungle clearance, leveling, and irrigation approvals are complete, compound wall construction is nearing completion, and HMDA approval is expected by October 2025. The township will feature 159 duplex and triplex villas of 2000–2400 sft, with at least 100 expected to be leased to the project at a monthly rent of ₹75,000 per villa. These villas will provide 300 rooms, enabling two core initiatives: a three-week Advaita program for affluent youth with a capacity of 500 participants per month, and a one-day retreat for the urban middle class for 1,000 people daily. The developers are presently taking EOIs ahead of the planned launch on 1st December 2025, while our foundation simultaneously seeks to secure villas through donations from corporates, celebrities, institutions, and royal families to dedicate them to the mission of spreading Advaita wisdom and Gita education.

Additionally, we present an alternative Plan D for establishing a dedicated digital Gita University with a budget of 250 crores on 18 acres of land. Should any of the aforementioned Plans A, B, or C succeed, the functionalities and objectives outlined in Plan D for the digital university will be integrated into the infrastructure of Plans A through C.

The necessary infrastructure to start Gita University modestly is as follows.

2) Kitchen & Dining for 300: 5000 sft.
3) Four Meeting Halls: 200nos, 100 nos, 50nos, 25nos.
4) 1BHK: 20 flats x 600 sft = 12,000 sft
5) 2BHK: 20 flats x 1200 sft = 24,000 sft
6) 3BHK: 20 flats x 1800 sft = 36,000 sft
8) Mini Film theater for 200 people.
Total sft: 1.5 lakh
500 car parking on 5 acres.

Digital Gita University Budget
Cost of construction: 1.5 lakh sft x 10k per sft = 150 crores
Cost of 18 acres of land = 36 crores.
Drainage, water, 2 acres water pond, parks, gardens, landscape = 14 crores
Working Capital = 50 crores.
Total budget: Rs.250 crores.

Capacity & Revenues
Gita gurus training: 100 people (50 rooms) every 60 days, 600 annually. (Free)
Gita for Affluent youth: 100 people (50 rooms) every 30 days, 1200 per annum. (5 lakhs): 5cr per batch x 12 batches, 60 cr pa.
Corporates, Politicians, Celebs: 100 people (50 rooms) every 6 days, 5000 annually. (5 lakhs): 5cr per batch x 50 batches, 250 cr pa.

Donors required for Making Gita

We need 4000 donors who can donate Rs.1000/- every month to meet the expenses of Gita making in 7 styles in 20 languages, in addition to the 3 styles we have currently in 5 languages.

Donors required for Digital promotion

To start with, during 2025-2032, 7 years period, we need 6000 donors who can donate Rs.500/- every month to meet the expenses to promote Gita in 20 languages across 195 countries on YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook etc. Later from the year 2030 to 2050, once the university gets equipped with the full content, we need to scale up the daily budget 100 times and we need 1 crore people who can donate 1 rupee every day.
