Upon the launch of our project on the string channel, we intended to implement crowdfunding in six phases, each valued at 200 crores. Our primary goal at the outset was to share the wisdom of the Gita with 5 billion individuals by the year 2050, by training 10,000 Gita gurus and establishing an equal number of Gita Bhavans within a decade of the inauguration of Gita University. Subsequently, following the advice of numerous knowledgeable individuals and spiritual leaders, we incorporated additional objectives into the project, focusing on a holistic approach to achieving global peace. As a result, the estimated budget has increased from 1200 crores to 2200 crores. This endeavor necessitates widespread public participation, similar to the funding efforts for the Ayodhya temple.

To establish a successful crowdfunding campaign, four essential elements must be considered. Firstly, the project should be viable and beneficial to the general public. Secondly, securing endorsements from well-known and reputable celebrities across India is crucial. Thirdly, engaging with print and electronic media to effectively communicate the project’s objectives and benefits through brief interviews and discussions featuring these celebrities is essential. Fourthly, implementing a robust social media strategy is vital to reach a broad audience, including business professionals, software engineers, and various other groups capable of contributing financially.

We have exerted all possible efforts with the limited resources and connections at our disposal; however, we have not achieved the level of success necessary for effective crowdfunding. To raise 2200 crores, we would need approximately 2 million individuals to contribute 500 rupees each month for a duration of 24 months. Consequently, we have revised our strategy from Plan A to Plan B, which now requires only 200 investors willing to invest in an asset if they find the project appealing. Nevertheless, we kindly urge everyone to contribute as generously as possible, as these funds will be utilized for monthly expenses and the development of additional Gita content.
