We are not mere bodies journeying through a spiritual experience; we are minute sparks of the one indivisible Consciousness, temporarily appearing as individual beings due to the momentum of our past-life impressions. These latent karmas create preferences, fears, attractions, and aversions, pulling us into experiences of joy and sorrow. This oscillation between opposites—pleasure and pain, success and failure, praise and blame—is what we call duality, but in truth, it is nothing more than Prakriti vibrating within us. Our accumulated desires bind us to Prakriti, whose Trigunas—Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas—colour the mind and generate thoughts, emotions, and impulses. Meanwhile, the real “I”—the Purusha, the silent witnessing Self—remains untouched, unchanged, and ever-free. The dance between the changeless Purusha and the ever-changing Prakriti is what the scriptures call Leela, the divine play, or Maya, the illusion of multiplicity.
In this cosmic play, we forget who we truly are. Though we are non-different from the infinite Consciousness, we begin to identify with temporary layers—culture, religion, tradition, gender, language, nationality, and countless social constructs. When our intelligence becomes hijacked by these fleeting identities, ignorance thickens, and we lose the capacity to distinguish between Kshetra, the field of ever-changing experiences, and Kshetragna, the Knower, the pure Consciousness behind all experience. This confusion strengthens the ego, fuels karmic actions, and binds the soul to further births. As long as the mind runs outward—toward possessions, opinions, ideologies, and external approval—the wheel of karma continues to spin.
Only Karma Yoga, the art of acting with joy, clarity, and non-attachment, begins to loosen these chains. Through selfless action and purified understanding, the mind becomes subtle enough to glimpse its own source. Without this purification, the soul risks sinking deeper into delusion, experiencing denser layers of ignorance and descending into lower realms of experience. The purpose of human birth, therefore, is not to perfect the world outside but to recognise the Consciousness within. When this recognition dawns, Maya dissolves, Prakriti becomes a servant instead of a master, and dualities lose their power over us.
There is only one way out of all suffering: keep an open mind, step away from sectarian noise, and continue seeking truth with unwavering sincerity. Do not get stuck on names, labels, or rigid religious doctrines. Instead, nurture your intellect, question deeply, and allow wisdom to expand until your very last breath.

Note to All Seekers: We have been receiving numerous questions from across India—particularly on managing stress, understanding God, and interpreting the Bhagavad Gita. To address these recurring themes with clarity and depth, we will be launching a comprehensive video series beginning July 2026, covering:
- How to play the game of life — free from stress, fear, and emotional burden
- Non-Dual Spiritual Wisdom — as revealed in the Upanishads, Brahma Sutras, and Bhagavad Gita
- The Bhagavad Gita in its true non-dual essence — free from ritualistic or sectarian distortions
