About the Founder & Chairman
The Mission 5 billion Project was initially envisioned by D. Anand K. Reddy, a postgraduate in Structural Engineering and the Managing Director of a private limited company specialising in training Civil and Mechanical Engineers in advanced Finite Element Analysis and Design Software. His organisation was the first in India to offer training in vertical CADD software in 1994, and since then has trained over 1,20,000 students across India and in more than ten countries. It continues to be recognised as India’s largest and highest-quality CADD Centre.
He further expanded access through the online portal www.eccindia.org, enabling global learners to benefit from technical education. Today, he is dedicating his entire time, energy, and life-mission to the goals of this Foundation, guided by the conviction that Advaita wisdom is the only path to enduring global harmony.
The Chairman of the Foundation is Sri Chalasani Bala Ramayya, a former Air Force officer, businessman, and philanthropist who has donated land worth over ₹800 crores to various dharmic initiatives over the past 25 years.
Who Will Run the Foundation?
The Foundation plans to establish an Advisory Board of 108 distinguished dharmic leaders within 100 days of procuring land. This will be achieved either with the support of the State Government or through the generosity of one billionaire or any affluent divine individual contributing ₹500 crores to help secure the required 250 acres. The University will proudly carry the name of the land donor as a prefix to Gita University.
After the allocation or procurement of the 250 acres of land, or upon the commencement of our Seed Project, we will begin seeking support from affluent individuals across the world. Over a period of two years, we aspire to have 500 of the 3,028 billionaires worldwide join and support this Global Advaita Mission, becoming key pillars of a movement that aims to transform global consciousness. This entire initiative is approached as a Yajna—a sacred offering undertaken with detachment, free from personal ambition and grounded in a non-doer mindset. The results of this Yajna are humbly surrendered to the Supreme Consciousness.
Furthermore, any generous individual contributing ₹10 crores or more will be granted shareholder status in the Foundation on a pro-rata basis, aligned with the target corpus of ₹5,000 crores. Through a dedicated infrastructure SPV, these donors will collectively hold 75% of the Foundation’s ownership, proportionate to their contributions.
These visionary donors will play a key role in ensuring absolute transparency, rigorous governance, and zero misuse of funds. Their diverse professional backgrounds will enrich the Foundation with innovative ideas, ethical accountability, and strategic insights. We refer to these donors as divine contributors, and together we aim to cultivate 10,000 International Gita Gurus by 2050 and 1,00,000 by 2100.
Real People Behind This Project
Material desires differ among individuals due to their education, skills, interests, karmic impressions, and the varying activity of their trigunas. Therefore, initiatives driven by material goals can usually be traced to specific people. But the inner Self—the pure consciousness within every being—remains unchanged regardless of physical form.
Every soul seeks inner peace, joy, and harmony, reflecting its fundamental unity with all other beings. This project document is not the expression of any one individual; rather, it reflects what millions of peace-loving people have silently felt within themselves for years. Many will recognise their own unspoken emotions, visions, and hopes represented in this initiative.
Hence, it would be entirely incorrect to consider this project as the idea of one person or one group. It is a manifestation of the collective inner Self, the shared aspiration of humanity for a more conscious world. We anticipate that over one crore individuals will embrace this foundation in the coming years, helping share Bhagavad Gita wisdom with 500 crore people by 2050.
Since we believe in Ekatma and Sarvatma—that One indivisible Consciousness pervades all and that even the inanimate is a manifestation of that same Consciousness—questions such as “Who started this?” or “Who is behind this?” arise only from a lower, dualistic perspective. In the Non-Dual vision, such distinctions are insane, unnecessary and ultimately untrue in absolute perspective.
Therefore, it is with a sense of inner discomfort that we have disclosed the names of our two founder-directors, and we humbly seek apologies for doing so, as it stands contrary to the Advaitic spirit that the mission belongs to Consciousness alone, not to individuals.
To honour the soul of this project—Advaita, we maintain humility about individual identities. To conclude: 500 billionaires, 10,000 UHNWIs, 1 crore wise individuals, and over 100 nations will stand behind this project within five years of commissioning Gita University.
Our faith is not in any person.
Our faith is in the Bhagavad Gita — the software of all living beings on this planet.
