Advisory Board Members, Shareholders & Team Behind

Before presenting the details of our Advisory Board Members, Shareholders, and the Team Behind the Mission, we feel it is essential to first offer a concise yet meaningful overview of the project—its necessity in a world facing deep spiritual distress, its purpose as a movement for inner transformation, and its global impact in uniting diverse ideologies through the wisdom of the Gita.

This includes a brief understanding of
why society urgently needs a satvik platform for conscious individuals, why genuine peace must arise from spiritual insight rather than policies, why India must demonstrate unity before guiding the world, and why the Gita’s Advaitic vision is the only force capable of dissolving modern divisions and psychological suffering.

This introduction is intended to equip wise and discerning individuals who wish to serve on the Advisory Board with a clear sense of the profound responsibility—and extraordinary opportunity—that this historic initiative represents.

Why the World Desperately Needs This Mission Today
We live in an age of profound psychological, emotional, and spiritual collapse. Every segment of society—industries, families, individuals, and entire nations—is suffering. Students, professionals, homemakers, and soldiers alike are weighed down by stress. Work pressures, family disconnect, health crises, and social instability have become universal. Corruption and misuse of public resources cripple honest citizens, while educated youth struggle for survival and meaning. People live in constant fear—of pain, loss, instability, and emptiness. Even the idea of God, which was meant to unite humanity, has become a cause of division, conflict, and bloodshed. Clearly, something deep within the soul of humanity is wounded, and the world is crying for healing.

We believe that over 90% of human suffering arises from ignorance of the Self. No amount of external reform—political, economic, or social—can bring lasting peace unless this inner ignorance is removed. In a world divided by caste, gender, religion, nationality, and race, only the Advaita Vedanta taught in the Bhagavad Gita can dissolve these illusions and restore the natural unity of human consciousness.

It is from this global crisis that our project emerged—not as a protest against the world, but as a solution born from inner awakening. Recognising that spiritual ignorance is the root cause of most global problems, we have designed a three-tiered initiative capable of bringing genuine, lasting transformation—from individual seekers to communities, institutions, nations, and global leadership.

A Universal Platform for Conscious Individuals to Unite
Many people today feel deeply troubled by the state of the world—helpless, unheard, and unsure how to act. This foundation offers a sacred platform for dharmic, satvik, and truth-seeking individuals to come together not in protest, but in wisdom, compassion, and selfless service. The Bhagavad Gita provides the perfect meeting ground for such unity because it is truly universal—untied to any religion, politics, region, or identity. It speaks directly to life’s most profound questions: Why am I born? What does my soul seek? How should I live? Its timeless values of self-awareness, duty, compassion, and inner peace can unite people across ideologies and cultures. By recognising the oneness of consciousness, we build bridges where society sees divisions. Real peace does not begin with governments or policies—it starts within people. When individuals from diverse faiths and backgrounds connect through inner transformation, a genuine and lasting shift in the world becomes possible.

India’s Sacred Responsibility to Lead the World
India carries a unique civilizational responsibility on its shoulders—to demonstrate to the world how diverse communities, countless traditions, and multiple faiths can coexist in harmony under the umbrella of universal spiritual wisdom. If we cannot embody mutual respect, unity, and inner maturity within our own boundaries, how can we guide a fragmented world toward peace? Gita University is deeply committed to living the very values it teaches, beginning with our fellow Indians. Only when we become the example can we lead by example.

At the heart of this leadership lies a spiritual truth: every soul carries a fragment of the same divine consciousness, shaped only externally by karma and trigunas. To hate another is to deny the divinity within oneself; such divisiveness leads only to spiritual decay. India must therefore rise above sectarian boundaries and reaffirm the vision of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—that the entire world is one family—not as a slogan, but as a lived reality. When India embodies this oneness, it becomes a guiding light to all nations seeking peace in an age of growing conflict.

The Birth of a Vision from Humanity’s Collective Cry
The inner cry of billions—their emptiness, meaninglessness, loss of identity, and the increasing hatred and division in society—seemed to gather and crystallize around one individual, not by coincidence but by the unseen momentum of his past-life impressions, his unwavering optimism, and his deep understanding that in truth there is no ‘two’ to fight for or to seek. What the world was silently suffering, he inwardly absorbed; what humanity desperately needed, he intuitively envisioned. That personal awakening gradually transformed into this monumental project.

What began in the heart of one seeker soon grew beyond the individual, shaped and refined by the guidance of Gita scholars, spiritual masters, and visionaries from diverse backgrounds. The mission that emerged is now a collective offering: to make the Bhagavad Gita the universal scripture of clarity, compassion, and inner transformation for over 5 billion people by 2050—not as a religious text, but as the operating system for human consciousness.

The Global Advisory Board: Guiding Minds for a New Conscious Civilisation
Gita University is envisioned as a global civilizational institution, not a regional or sectarian project. If its message must reach people of every nation, faith, culture, and economic background, then its guidance must also come from voices that represent that very diversity.

We therefore seek advisors from all walks of life, all professions, all religions, and all ethnicities — so the wisdom of Advaita can be translated into solutions relevant to humanity as a whole.

A diverse Advisory Board ensures:

  • Cultural legitimacy across continents

  • Cross-religious trust, proving that the Gita’s teachings belong to humanity, not a group

  • Multidisciplinary excellence, blending art, governance, science, spirituality, and social leadership

  • Global outreach, using the strengths of many communities

  • Non-sectarian integrity, ensuring no ideology dominates or distorts this universal mission

When people from different countries and belief systems sit together in harmony, they embody the very Advaita principle we aim to teach: the oneness of all existence.

The Advisory Board Will Include:

  • 36 respected voices from film and celebrity circles

  • 36 scholars of the Gita

  • 36 visionary leaders from business, technology, and humanitarian sectors

These members together represent the creative world, the intellectual world, and the practical world — the three pillars required to carry a global spiritual renaissance.

Purpose and Responsibilities
This board will convene once annually to guide the project’s strategic, educational, and global direction.
Members commit to:

  • Attending a 3-day annual gathering at the main campus (Friday to Sunday, first week of April)

  • Reviewing progress and strengthening the long-term vision

  • Advocating for the Gita’s universal and non-sectarian relevance

  • Recommending innovative strategies for global outreach

  • Supporting cross-cultural, interfaith, and humanitarian initiatives

Term and Renewal

Members serve a 5-year term. The renewal policy will be disclosed two years after the commissioning of Gita University, ensuring it reflects real-world learnings and institutional maturity.

About the Founder
The Mission 5 Billion Project was initially envisioned by D. Anand K. Reddy, a postgraduate in Structural Engineering and the Managing Director of a private limited company specialising in training Civil and Mechanical Engineers in advanced Finite Element Analysis and Design software. His organisation was the first in India to offer training in vertical CADD software in 1994, and has since trained over 1,20,000 students across India and more than ten countries. It continues to be recognised as India’s largest and highest-quality CADD Centre.

He later expanded access through the online portal www.eccindia.org, enabling global learners to receive technical education. Today, he is dedicating his entire life to the goals of this Foundation, guided by the conviction that Advaita wisdom is the only path to enduring global harmony.

Who Will Run the Foundation?
At present, the Chairman of the Foundation is Sri Chalasani Bala Ramayya garu, a former Air Force officer, businessman, and philanthropist who has donated land worth over ₹800 crores to various dharmic initiatives over the last 25 years.

The Foundation will establish a 108-member Advisory Board within 100 days of procuring land—either with the support of the State Government or through a single billionaire or affluent individual contributing ₹500 crores to secure the required 250 acres. The University will proudly carry the name of the land donor as a prefix to Gita University.

After the allocation or procurement of land—or upon the commencement of the Seed Project—we will begin engaging affluent individuals worldwide. Over two years, we aspire to bring 500 of the world’s 3,028 billionaires into this Global Advaita Mission. This entire initiative is approached as a Yajna, undertaken with detachment and humility, free from personal ambition, and surrendered to the Supreme Consciousness.

Furthermore, any generous individual contributing ₹10 crores or more will receive shareholder status in the Foundation on a pro-rata basis, aligned with the target corpus of ₹5,000 crores. Through a dedicated infrastructure SPV, these donors will collectively hold 75% ownership of the Foundation. They will ensure transparent governance, ethical accountability, strategic guidance, and zero misuse of funds. Their diverse experience will enrich the Foundation with innovative ideas and a global vision.

Together with these divine contributors, the Foundation aims to cultivate 10,000 International Gita Gurus by 2050 and 1,00,000 by 2100.

Real People Behind This Project
Material desires vary due to education, skills, interests, karmic tendencies, and trigunas. Therefore, material initiatives can often be traced to specific individuals. But the inner Self—the pure consciousness within all beings—remains unchanged. Every soul seeks inner peace, joy, and harmony, reflecting its fundamental unity with all existence.

This project is not the idea of any single individual. It is the expression of what millions of peace-loving people have silently felt within themselves. Many will recognise their own unspoken emotions, concerns, hopes, and aspirations reflected in this initiative.

Thus, this project must be seen as a manifestation of the collective inner Self, representing humanity’s shared longing for wisdom and peace. Over one crore people are expected to embrace this Foundation in the coming years, helping share Bhagavad Gita wisdom with 500 crore individuals by 2050.

Since we believe in Ekatma and Sarvatma—that one indivisible Consciousness pervades everything, animate and inanimate—questions like “Who started this?” or “Who is behind this?” arise only from a lower, dualistic perspective. In the Non-Dual vision, such distinctions are unnecessary and ultimately untrue. Hence, it is with discomfort that we disclose the names of the two founder-directors, and we seek apologies for doing so, as it contradicts the Advaitic spirit that this mission belongs to Consciousness alone.

To honour this truth, we remain humble about personal identities. Ultimately, 500 billionaires, 10,000 UHNWIs, 1 crore wise individuals, and over 100 nations will stand behind this project within five years of commissioning Gita University. Our faith is not in any one person. Our faith is in the Bhagavad Gita—the software of all living beings on this planet.
