What you see here is not merely a proposal—it is the manifestation of a collective inner urge, a shared spiritual longing that has emerged from the deepest recesses of human consciousness. These thoughts, seeded in your heart, have found their way into this initiative, as if transmitted across invisible channels by Mother Nature herself.

Just as quantum physics demonstrates that two particles—no matter how far apart, even if separated by galaxies—can become entangled and remain mysteriously connected, so too are our inner aspirations interwoven across time and space. This isn’t poetic fantasy—it’s scientific reality. Entangled particles influence each other instantaneously, suggesting that intelligence, awareness, and intention are not bound by physical distance.

This project is not the isolated idea of one mind, but the echo of a universal intelligence expressing itself through many. Though our material desires differ—shaped by education, skills, interests, and karmic tendencies—the essence of the soul is one: it longs for peace, meaning, and harmony.

This initiative is a collective spiritual awakening, emerging not from ego but from the deeper Self that dwells in all beings. We believe that more than 1 crore awakened individuals will resonate with this call and come together to share the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita with 5 billion people by the year 2050.

🙏 The Founder & The First Step
The Mission 5 Billion Project was envisioned by D. Anand K. Reddy, a postgraduate in Structural Engineering and the Managing Director of a pioneering company that was the first in India to provide vertical CADD training in civil and mechanical engineering. Since 1994, his firm has trained over 120,000 students across India and more than 10 other countries, gaining national recognition.

Through his educational portal www.eccindia.org, he expanded learning across India. Having completed his material responsibilities, he is now fully focused on this spiritual mission.

He is currently seeking a highly respected Advaita Guru from among the five Matts of Adi Shankaracharya to serve as Chancellor, aiming for the project’s formal launch by July 30, 2025.

🌱 The Seed of the Project: A World in Distress
Our world is engulfed in mental, emotional, and spiritual turmoil. From students and professionals to homemakers and soldiers, every stratum of society is under stress. Work pressures, family disconnect, health crises, and social instability are widespread. Even the idea of God has become a cause for conflict.

Corruption, misuse of public funds, and social injustice plague honest citizens. Educated youth are struggling to survive, and people live in constant fear—of pain, loss, and meaninglessness. Clearly, something deep within the soul of humanity needs healing.

💥 A Cry for Transformation
This project was born not as a protest but as a solution rooted in inner awakening. We believe that spiritual ignorance is the root cause of most global issues. Thus, we present a three-tiered initiative to bring real, lasting transformation—from grassroots individuals to global leadership.

Many feel helpless about the state of the world, venting their concerns but unsure how to act. This foundation offers a platform for dharmic, satvik individuals to unite—not in protest, but through wisdom and service

If we cannot demonstrate mutual respect and unity within our own nation, how can we lead the world? Gita University is committed to living the values it teaches, beginning with our fellow Indians. We must embody our message before preaching it.

Every soul carries a fragment of divine consciousness and is shaped by its karma and trigunas. To harbor hatred towards another is to hate the divine spark within, which leads to spiritual downfall.

We must rise above divisiveness and embrace the vision of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—the whole world as one family.

II. THE 108-MEMBER ADVISORY BOARD

💡 The Thinking Behind This Historic Project
The idea began with one seeker, deeply disturbed by the global spiritual crisis. That individual journey evolved into a collective mission, shaped by the wisdom of Gita scholars, spiritual leaders, and visionaries from diverse backgrounds.

The mission is now public: to make the Bhagavad Gita the universal scripture of clarity, compassion, and inner transformation for over 5 billion people by 2050.

🌍 Why This Project—and Why Now?
We live in an age of extreme psychological and spiritual breakdown. Every segment of society suffers—industries, families, individuals, and nations alike. Even the idea of God, instead of uniting, has become a cause of bloodshed.

We believe over 90% of suffering stems from ignorance of the Self. Unless addressed, no external reform will suffice. In a world divided by caste, gender, religion, nationality, and race, only Advaita Vedanta—as taught in the Gita—can dissolve these illusions and re-establish unity.

Unlike past Sanatana Dharmefforts, this mission presents the Gita as a universal science of Self-realization, not a sectarian scripture. It offers:

We reflected on 30+ deep questions:

• Why has the Gita remained confined largely to India?

• Can Brahma Jnana be taught without Sanskrit?

• Is the Gita for all humanity or just for Hindus?

• Why do irrational ideologies thrive while Vedantic wisdom stays hidden?

• Can temple and cultural wealth be redirected toward mass awakening?

• Can eternal truths be taught without forced external conformity?

These questions shaped our blueprint—to make the Gita the soul of global education.

👥 Structure of the 108-Member Advisory Board
The Advisory Board will include:

• 36 respected voices from film and celebrity circles

• 36 scholars, teachers, and translators of the Gita

• 36 visionary leaders from business, technology, and humanitarian sectors

This board will convene once annually, guiding the project’s strategic, educational, and global direction.

🧭 Commitments of Advisory Board Members
Board members commit to:

• Attending an annual 3-day gathering at the main campus (Friday to Sunday, first week of April)

• Reviewing the project vision and progress

• Advocating for the Gita’s universal relevance

• Recommending innovative outreach strategies

• Supporting cross-cultural and non-sectarian education

🔄 Term and Renewal Policy

• Members serve a 5-year term

• Every year, 20% of the board is renewed, allowing fresh perspectives

• Annual feedback from members will help decide retirements via secret ballot voting, based on 10-minute input presentations during the summit

💰 Donor Members as Permanent Advisors

• All donors contributing ₹2 crore or more will become Permanent Advisory Board Members

• They will collectively hold 60% formal ownership of the foundation

• They are empowered to audit progress, review finances, and validate the authenticity of Gita-based transformation metrics
